I think it is just plain stupid...++Justin and ++John lead the pack of the ¨sheltered/worse¨ who live in a world of such DENIAL, POSTURING and PRETEND. It  is a wonder they can find their way out from under any dilemma without DEMANDING that God issue special tablets of Gold with their personal names on them!

I think, I truly do, that God wants me, a member of the LGBTI community, to be the authentic person that God created me to be..self accountable and responsible in all my affairs..I almost killed myself trying to deny my basic moral decency, or adhere to their kind of appropiateness for my being..I WILL not allow my silence as EBOR or any of the THOUGHTLESS and brutal GLOBAL SOUTH/GAFCON archbishops set any religiouslike standard that endorses the TORMENTING of fellow human beings at Church. 

Archbishop Justin Welby may be bordering on passive/masochistic-aggressive or is plain dim-witted/ego-protecting but that will NOT excuse the harm he does.  ++Justin  ought quickly speak out about the  full-fledged validity and worthiness of (equal to heterosexual) LGBTI Anglicans at all levels of churchlife.

Imagine the lifetimes of prejudice/discrimination he endorses by doing his current jig of prancing Lambeth Palace dance of death (on the misery and graves of LGBTI Anglicans). Of course I have little respect for those who make lives living HELL for LGBTI Anglicans/others,..respect is earned and I have little for neither self-righteous bigots, hatemongers, cowards nor thieves/greedy grandstanding *leaders* at Church. A word on the Archbishop of Canterbury's statements

¨ The Archbishop of Canterbury has made public statements that reveal at best a lamentable naiveté and at worst both homophobia and colonial thinking. Archbishop Justin Welby has claimed that the Church of England, if it marries gay and lesbian people there is responsible for the deaths of homosexuals in Africa.

The archbishop was shown the mass grave of Christians from a village in Africa, killed, he was told because their neighbors did not want to become gay by association with people whose religion supported rights for LGBT people. It is clear that the archbishop was shocked by the brutality behind this mass murder, and the very scale of the killing. I too am overwhelmed by it. In the face of tragedies larger than a human can take in, I think we often go to answers and solutions that we know, that are familiar. Here, I think the archbishop fell back on a solution that was already unjust, but familiar to him: retrench around marriage as only between a woman and a man. Don’t inflame violent people further.

Welby’s argument is parallel to saying that the segregation laws in the United States that obtained until the mid-60s and the disenfranchisement of women in the United States until the 20^th Century should have both been continued if someone claimed that blacks and women in other countries would be endangered by moves towards greater justice here.

In a very simple world, with very few variables perhaps we could credit Archbishop Welby’s reasoning. If the only factor in the safety of African LGBT people was the maintenance of unjust laws in England and the United States, I hope we would all pause to absorb this and see what could be done about it. But our world is an exceedingly complex place and this simplistic logic of the Archbishop’s only privileges the colonial power position Great Britain once held with respect to her now-vanished empire – the Africans pay close attention to everything the center of the empire thinks and does.

Instead, Africa is a continent of countries, each with its own history apart from and intertwined with former European empire masters. Surely there are at least as many factors at work within Africa itself influencing the safety of LGBT people (and Christians in general, as Welby argues) that counterbalance whatever focus Africans may have on England.

The Archbishop could be helpfully involved in Africa on behalf of the safety of vulnerable LGBT people if he wished to be, in ways that did not continue the oppression of LGBT people in the United Kingdom. He could support the ministry of the retired bishop, Christopher Senyonjo in Uganda, a courageous and nearly lone voice in the religious leadership of that country. Archbishop Welby could speak clearly to the Churches in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria among others about their open support of legislation that criminalizes even the very being of LGBT people.

If I am right and empire thinking underlies the archbishop’s remarks, his proposed way forward – continue to oppress LGBT people in the UK – will fail to keep African’s safe for this reason: if Africa is watching the UK as closely as the Archbishop would have us all believe then they will not miss that the spiritual head of the Anglican Communion is on the side of continued second-class citizenship for LGBT people.

Twice in the hour-long phone-in program in which the archbishop made his remarks, Archbishop Welby used the modifier, incredibly to describe how the Church must attend to the witness of the LGBT community – listen incredibly carefully and be incredibly conscious. To remember a great line from The Princess Bride, I’m not sure the archbishop knows what incredible attentiveness means.

We should remember that the archbishop has made his views on same-gender marriage clear. In an address to the House of Lords he reiterated, as he did in the radio interview most recently that marriage is a sacred institution reserved for heterosexuals. In fact, in this most recent interview the Guardian wrote that the archbishop did not want LGBT people to be treated with any greater severity than adulterous heterosexuals are treated. The core idea here if anyone cares to look closely is that same-gender relationships are sinful.

Today, local media in the diocese I serve showed one of my priests, a partnered, gay man being led away by law enforcement officers for an act of civil disobedience on behalf of immigrants in danger of deportation. Such acts on the side of justice are, I’m happy to say, commonplace in this diocese, done all the time by gay and straight folks. Faithful, rather than sinful seems a better word to describe this priest and the many like him here.

Archbishop Welby asserts that marriage should be only between a man and a woman, and says that scripture supports his position. I would hope for a better reader of scripture in the spiritual head of our Church. Let me point to this coming Sunday’s Gospel, the Raising of Lazarus from the Dead, in the Gospel of John as a good place to look for guidance on the issue of the safety of Christians, both straight and LGBT in Africa and elsewhere.

Jesus is so deeply moved – by the death of his friend, by the oppression of his people, by the suffering of the world – that he risks everything to go to the cave where Lazarus is buried to raise him back to life. This courage and compassion should be my guide, and I suggest our guide as we identify with Christ, as Christians. There are other scripture passages that might point us to how to view the question of same-gender marriage; the Raising of Lazarus from the Dead gives us guidance on how we should act when we confront injustice, evil and sin.¨

Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori: Overseas cross-border interventions ¨destroys pastoral relationships¨ and ¨destroys trust¨

Ethically, Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury is a ¨disaster¨

¨It is time, now that Rowan Williams has acted to exclude, to take action. The Episcopal Church, as the most affected, can take the lead. After all, Fred Hiltz is waiting. First, TEC should emphasise the importance of its network of links with other Churches formally and informally. Secondly, it should remove itself from all these central bureaucratic bodies and at the same time to stop funding them, and divert the funds to the informal links (that are better targeted and more productive anyway). The action should be taken until the policy of Rowan Williams is ended and, better still, perhaps along with it, until he is gone.

Surely there are people who can go to Rowan Williams and say that, now, because of what he has done, Primates are in open disagreement directly with him, that his policy is over-reaching beyond his proper authority, and that he should step down before the Anglican Communion is wrecked under his worst of leadership. Worst, because he takes so long to speak, act and respond, and when he does respond it is selectively and for the weakest of reasons, giving the nod to human rights abuse support in African Anglicanism, and that it is really time that he went. Ethically he is a disaster, putting the imagined and desired institution first according to its most conserving potential perspective. He has divorced ecclesial Christianity from ethics; he has encouraged the superstition of purple and the most limited forms of biblical interpretation...¨ HERE

The Archbishop of Canterbury: Rowan Williams ¨Sees Glory in each others faces¨...Selectively that is!

I have just viewed Archbishop Rowan Williams delivering his video address to the collected schismatic Anglicans who are also the self-named ¨holy orthodox believers¨ of The Global South.HERE This exclusive conclave, is made up of a specifically ¨invited¨ hostile group of strivers from various Provinces of The Anglican Communion and are meeting in the City/Police State of Singapore/Asia this week (money is not a issue for these instruments of colussion who are often well funded by angry American puritans). This Global South group is a ¨restricted¨ membership fellowship made up of ¨religiouslike¨ folk who often share notions of demonizing, marginalizing, persecuting and EXCLUDING LGBT ANGLICANS and others at all levels of Church and Anglican Communionlife. They also often promote persecution and discrimination against LGBT Christians in everyday society on their home turf. Abusing fellow Anglicans/others in the name of a God whose SOUL/SOLE demand is they read their Scriptures SELECTIVELY and deny equality, justice, religious and other, to OUR worldwide loving religious extended families!

Dr. Williams offers them/us elaborately inclusive wordings such as ¨We see Glory in each others Faces¨ and offers them/us the hope of the ¨Renewed Gift of the Holy Spirit¨ through careful LISTENING and attentive, and prayerfilled fellowship at The Anglican Communion. Sounds right? Don´t be silly, ¨don´t do as I say, do as I do!¨

Dr. Williams clearly doesn´t see Glory in the face of Bishop V.Gene Robinson of New Hampshire nor in the Bishop-elect for the diocese of Los Angeles, Canon Mary Douglas Glasspool of Maryland. In fact Dr. Williams refused to invite Bishop Robinson to the Lambeth Conference in Canterbury to share his life spiritual journey and 30+ year experience as a Priest. No, Dr. Williams is a intolerant listener (Lambeth 1.10), and has no interest in viewing ALL FACES who hold GLORY within them. Apparently it´s not essential for Dr. Williams to view faces if they are attached to open, honorable and much trusted and admired LGBT Gay Women and Men in Holy Orders and OUR loved ones, our friends and families...Dr. Williams believes that ¨facelessness¨ is a good thing (deception is often far more convenient than reality) and LIVING TRUTH ought be insulted, punished and ignored. Pity.


Archbishop Rowan further goes on to point out in his pandering video address to the Global South version of the Anglican Communion that there is a ¨deep divide between the Episcopal Church and THE REST OF THE ANGLICAN COMMUNION.¨ Here is his reasoning:

¨In all your minds there will be questions around the election and consecration of Mary Glasspool in Los Angeles. All of us share the concern that in this decision and action the Episcopal Church has deepened the divide between itself and the rest of the Anglican family. And as I speak to you now, I am in discussion with a number of people around the world about what consequences might follow from that decision, and how we express the sense that most Anglicans will want to express, that this decision cannot speak for our common mind.¨

Oh my, the Archbishop of Canterbury has taken a leap into the damaged world of codependency and probably believes HE IS MOST OF THE WE´S--meaning he speaks for the majority of Anglicans (who would no doubt, in his mind, agree with him even though there is NO document that backs his ¨damning of others¨ attitude up). Now the Anglican Communion has a ¨common mind¨ and +ROWAN KNOWS OUR COMMON MIND and speaks for US carelessly and without restraint! Such confusion and spiritual weakness is hard to believe coming from a person who´s title is ¨first amongst equals¨ and not ¨infallible dictator¨ nor ¨untouchable high priest-pope.¨

Rowan, you are a servant of a loving and inclusive God who Commands us to love God and one another too. No exceptions. Sorry, +Rowan, no exceptions, none.

Dear Dr. Williams,

WE DON´T HAVE A ¨COMMON MIND¨ at The Anglican Communion. Even in regard to YOUR much ¨touted/pushed¨ Anglican Covenant we have no majority of thinking/beliving. The Anglican Covenant, a covenant that would no doubt strengthen your ability to speak for OUR ¨common mind,¨ may not be agreed upon by even your Church of England, The Episcopal Church of Scotland, The Church in Wales nor Ireland! In fact, there is much evidence and resistance to the Covenant, enough to believe that it will not gain support by a majority of The Provinces at The Anglican Communion. What WORLD are you living in Dr. Williams? It is YOU who is politicing, pandering to divisive/schismatic Provincial Primates and you who is ¨deepening the divide¨ between OUR brothers and sisters at The Anglican Communion...ALL OF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS at The Anglican Communion. All means ALL (in a more healthy codependent sense) and that would include Bishop Robinson, Bishop-elect Glasspool, The Very Reverend Jeffery John and hundreds of thousands of LGBT people and Heterosexual Female clergy and laity--Anglicans with whom you could experience the willingness to allow the necessary healing amongst US through the ¨renewed GIFTS of the Holy Spirit.¨ There is no other way!

The Gifts of God are for ALL the people of God--please don´t exclude anyone at OUR Communion rail and please do not make a shameful and cowardly ¨peace¨ with those who would destroy LGBT Christians at the Anglican Communion and abuse and outcast US in everyday life.

Let´s attempt to have a spiritually and emotionally well balanced SANE conversation regarding human sexuality...we need not have *it* all ¨right¨ or have all the ¨answers¨ or even know many of the ¨underlying issues¨ but we do NEED to talk before society/maniacs run amuck (again) and there is oceans of innocent blood on OUR hands in Africa and beyond.*


Personally, very personally, I´ve spent a lifetime listening/watching quietly (mostly) to various people preach, slander, gossip, discriminate against, ridicule, demonize, demoralize and show general, and UNIVERSAL (mostly) contempt for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people. LGBT people who are quite often members of a immediate family, extended family, simply other students, coworkers, friends (mostly) but often sitting right next to YOU/ME in a pew at Church or on a Bar stool as we run away into a place of, often pleasing, hope, faith, temporary escape or instant insanity.


Please don´t get me wrong. I understand that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender human beings sometimes have ¨bad¨ character defects too. That would be just like you and Henri Orombi, Pete Akinola, Greg Venables, Drexel Gomez and many at the Gafcon/Global South crowd. Just like heterosexuals and everybody else. I also know that the SAME 10 Commandments are suggested, er, COMMANDED, for people like me and for people like you too. I´m trying to be ¨fair¨ even though I´m over-the-top after hearing/reading the spewed out nonsense from ¨religious like¨ gang who wish to murder some of OUR fellow Christians/human beings. I´ll settle down.

It´s time WE TRY TO STOP the insane LIES (for profit?) aimed against LGBT people that are currently blowing-out formerly healthier minds. It´s time to face the bigotry initiated at church and at the statehouse, when OUR so called ¨leaders¨ are encouraging the ugly acting-out of presenting/enabling HATE legislation and calling it Gods ¨will.¨ HELP! Such self-indulged expressions of inhumane bullying and feardriven arrogance are hysterically being demanded must be made into law against the ¨least of us¨ are just plain MORALLY WRONG, deceptive and spiritually unhealthy for everyone.

Some Preachers and some Politicos/supporters are frantically inciting folks to do harm and abuse fellow citizens and that is way out of line. Insane comes to mind! We can talk about it openly, don´t be embarrassed about the depth of this depravity against LGBT Christians/others. Bishop Rowan, and others, stop looking the other way in the face of MASS MURDER (in Jail or from the Gallows).


This morning, as I keep following the ongoing NEW proposed legislation directed against my fellow LGBT human beings, in Uganda, I was startled by the lack of SANITY (forget equality) and basic reason! YOU can´t miss it (if you are willing to look) because RIGHT NOW the Ugandan Parliament is calling for the DEATH PENALTY! HERE . Yes, Capital Punishment, for various ¨types¨ of homosexual behavior (that would be a list of various quirky/kinky types of sex that heterosexuals with twisted minds/virtues indulge in regularly as well). Then there is the anti-Homosexuality Bill ¨part¨ about spending LIFE IN PRISON for citizens who are ¨repeat offenders¨ of having sex with like minded/consenting adults! The ¨repeating of acts of love¨ would also be included in JAILTIME but not for heterosexuals. Priests, spiritual confidants, landlords, teachers and couselors who know YOU ARE GAY are to be sent to JAIL if they don´t report LGBT brothers and sisters within 24 hours...you wanna know why they are growing NUTS in Uganda? The population is being incited to fear and hate LGBT Christians and other Ugandan brothers and sisters.

After viewing the whole ugly fear and hatedriven lieing mess for a lifetime (from the inside/receivingside of the longtime/endless ¨hate/discrimination campaign¨) worldwide, I will offer a couple of observations:

The thing I noticed first, even as a small child, was that OFTEN people would ¨do¨ things differently than they said they ¨do¨...HARK, they were dishonest with themselves and others. Amazing, I had many glimpses of human nature and often it was of the ¨sexual¨ kind. Some I saw first hand. Some I turned my head away from in fear or disgust. Also I often noted prejudice against people of color too when I was instructed that we ALL were created equal, and are equal, what was that?. A remarkable Christian deceit was obvious in my little opinion as they hung black Americans from trees in the South I was told. On my travels to that part of the country there were signs that instructed we ¨White People¨ where to go to the bathroom or use drinking fountains...seemed odd to me that we ¨white people¨ couldn´t recognize where to ¨go¨...little did I know...little made sense, all wasn´t as it seemed to be for me and other people who were different than me.

HOMOSEXUAL or Heterosexual, not one of us wants CHILDREN ABUSED SEXUALLY! Don´t believe the LIES perpetrated against LGBT citizens, we are NOT RECRUITERS of CHILDREN!

Pediphiles are most often Heterosexual MEN and WOMEN abusing young girls and young men! Stop the lies, get the REAL facts (and legislate LAWS against Pediphiles...we agree)!

I once had a older babysitter who made me, yes forced me, to be her ¨boyfriend¨ and French kissed and have sorta sex over and over again, she was ugly and I hated her...a sad, sick and desperate lady. I was a small child and she a late teen teenager. I knew that she was unwell and I wanted her to stay away from me. I made up a sorta lie, said the babysitter was mean and she never came back after a few of her fantasyfilled ¨dates¨ with me...probably made me into a Gay person...let´s blame her (except I knew I liked boys better already).


Several times, as a child, I noticed my ¨integrated¨ neighborhood had childhood games of ¨Playing Doctor¨ were little more than getting down to the sexual aspects of one another...a innocent game of share and show sometimes boldly and sometimes shyly (you know, like human beings)...but always clandestine, always guiltfilled and under the radar...we always knew we were doing something ¨wrong¨ and would get in trouble if caught in the examining room. What could that ¨wrong¨ be? It wasn´t stealing, it rarely was coveting and it certainly wasn´t murdering one another and we didn´t know how to SWEAR AT GOD. Our wrong was that we were sexual human beings and we ALL definitely had our special preferences and interests in exploring. Childhood specialities. You see, somewhere in the midst of that childhood mumble jumble of children exploring oneanothers body parts I discovered I liked the boys better than the girls (nobody but me knew) innocent as it all was, I still knew the difference. I knew what pleased me and I thought I was different! I was different! I became my own secret that sometimes I kept even from me.

The hypocrisy and falsehoods began very early for me. Later I found adults like me, full fledged grown ups, like me, we still liked to play ¨doctor¨ clandestinely with EACH OTHER (albeit the exams were far more thorough). WOW, what a relief, there was a whole world of people like me who liked same sex intimacy. We grew up and it was MUCH MORE FUN than playing pretend! I wasn´t weird. I wasn´t strange. I was sexually interested in people like me...whew, adults like me were everywhere even though many lived their sexual lives secretly.


Early in my life I discovered that people often ¨preached¨ one thing and did quite another. Not so much at my house where we lived as sort of a All-American Betty Crocker family but out in the streets, in other Churches, School and amongst the others in the REAL WORLD where deceitful, clandestine deviant behavior ran rampantly. How did I know? I experienced it. I experienced the small intimacies that were SHAMED AND BLAMED when viewed in the ¨light¨...I payed attention to who thought/taught what was ¨right¨ and who did ¨wrong¨ and played pretend that *it* never happened...yes, even as a small child I noticed people had a sort of sexual amnesia, a tendency to be sexual, nervously joke about sex, sneak around, ridicule others (whenever possible) and take the FOCUS OFF THEMSELVES (where mostly it belonged)! It didn´t matter WHERE it happened, the World was filled with human beings that had all sorts of guilt and guilty reactions/ideas about sex and particularly nasty reactions when threatened to be exposed regarding their OWN DENIAL of SEXUAL REALITY! Note the Bishop of Rome and his legions of ¨invisible¨ LGBT clergy.

So the insanity continues. The lies. The Pretend. The Denial. The Anger. The Lashing Out! The Persecution! The Demeaning! The Shame! The Blame! The DEFLECTING of taking responsibility for ones OWN sexual actions!

The sexual insanity that seems to get worse everyday amongst the religious zealots and politicos like the Honourable Benson Obua Ogwal, of the Parliament of Uganda and
who are hyped-up by hate-mongering clergy and discredited/faux ¨scientific LGBT sex experts¨ HERE . MP Obua Ogwal will grasp at fantasy and lies to avoid REALITY! To make his ¨case¨ against LGBT Christians/others seem valid and just. The sexual insanity seems to work some fundamentalist folks into great fits of MADNESS while trying ever so hard to find LGBT family, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances to SHAME, BLAME, SAVE, PAY-OFF and/or RE-PROPAGATE (redo inside and out when it is THEY who badly need spiritual HELP when determining right vs. wrong)! If all rehabilitation to their madly imagined SEXUAL CONDITION of ¨correct and holy¨ universal heterosexuality FAILS, well, they will kill LGBT Christians and others. Kill us because they are ill-informed, scared, popular bigots, and blowhards who lead their country with HATE...they hate being wrong period but on the subject of human sexuality they will go further and not-so-honorably-kill their brothers and sisters. ¨Honor killing in the name of a God who LOVES all of Gods BELOVED children. Insanity at Church. GENOCIDE for Christ (and re-election next year)!


When are we going to have a moment of clarity? When is the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams going to provide leadership based on Loving God and Loving one another and speak out STRONGLY against abuse, violence, fear and hate? When will we see the end to the massive hate promotion and anti-Homosexual GENOCIDE that is featured/encouraged as serious ¨legislation¨ and debated (like the topic was normal) at some of the most vile and corrupt cultures in the World today? Cultures that are Provinces at The Anglican Communion. Uganda, Nigeria, The West Indies (Jamaica), Rwanda (very experienced, recently, in the evil act of GENOCIDE and yet they go back for more demonizing of fellow citizens YESTERDAY and TODAY).

STATE DEPARTMENT REPORT ON JAMAICA'S LGBT'S REVEAL "ARBITRARY DETENTIONS, MOB ATTACKS, STABBINGS, HARASSMENT AND TARGETED SHOOTINGS"

Two weeks ago, the U.S. State Department issued its annual Human Rights Report for 2008. Jamaica, a favorite holiday destination for millions of Americans, was singled out for extensive official and unofficial abuse of LGBT citizens of that country.

Other Societal Abuses and Discrimination
The law prohibits “acts of gross indecency” (generally interpreted as any kind of physical intimacy) between men, in public or in private, which are punishable by 10 years in prison.

The Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All Sexuals, and Gays (J-FLAG) continued to report human rights abuses, including arbitrary detention, mob attacks, stabbings, harassment of homosexual patients by hospital and prison staff, and targeted shootings of homosexuals. Police often did not investigate such incidents.

J-FLAG members also suffered attacks on their property, home intrusions as people demanded to know the number of persons and beds in a home, and in one instance, a fire bombing at the home of two men that left one of them with burns on more than 60 percent of his body. In addition homosexuals faced death and arson threats, with some of these directed at the J-FLAG offices. J-FLAG did not publicize its location due to such threats, and its officials reported feeling unsafe having meetings with clients at the organization’s office.

In February a mob broke into the home of four presumed homosexual men, killing three of them. The fourth was missing and presumed dead. The men had reported being harassed for their perceived sexual orientation prior to the fatal attack. Police made some inquiries in the case but did not conduct a full investigation or make any arrests by year’s end.

The trial of six suspects arrested for the 2005 robbery and murder of Lenford “Steve” Harvey, initially begun and then postponed in 2007, was scheduled to recommence in January 2009.

Male inmates deemed by prison wardens to be homosexual were held in a separate facility for their protection. The method used for determining their sexual orientation was subjective and not regulated by the prison system, although inmates were said to confirm their homosexuality for their own safety. There were numerous reports of violence against homosexual inmates, perpetrated by the wardens and by other inmates, but few inmates sought recourse through the prison system.

Homosexual men were hesitant to report incidents against them because of fear for their physical well-being. Lesbian women were subject to sexual assault as well as other physical attacks. Human rights NGOs and government entities agreed that brutality against homosexuals, primarily by private citizens, was widespread in the community.

"We reported on the mob killing last February. The situation in Jamaica has continued to deteriorate, with high-ranking Jamaican officials shrugging off anti-LGBT violence. Calls for “tolerance” in the popular media have remained decidedly one-sided by advocating tolerance only for those who espouse homophobic hatred. Courts in the United States, Canada and Europe have been providing asylum to LGBT Jamaicans who fear for their lives if they are forced to return. Doctor Rowan Williams, the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury, will visit Jamaica next month to attend a meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC).

WILLIAMS... will attend May 2 to 14 meeting in Kingston
The archbishop is the president of the ACC, one of the three instruments of communion which serves the worldwide family of Anglican/Episcopal Churches.

Anglicans are said to be looking forward to the May 2 to 14 Kingston meeting, which will see some 150 delegates representing 164 nations in attendance.

The Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands said plans for the meeting are well advanced.

"The ACC meets every three years, and its present policy is to meet in different parts of the world. This is the Council's second meeting in the Caribbean since delegates gathered for the third ACC meeting in Trinidad in 1976. Other meetings have been held in Kenya, the Republic of Ireland, Canada, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, Nigeria, Singapore, Wales, South Africa, Panama, Scotland, Hong Kong, and Nottingham, England. read it all, click here

The invitation to hold the meeting in Jamaica was extended by the Rev Dr Alfred Reid, Bishop of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, and received support from the other seven Dioceses within the Province of the West Indies. "The ACC was formed following a resolution of the Lambeth Conference of 1968 which identified the need for more frequent and more representative contact among the Churches than was possible through a once-a-decade conference of Bishops. The Council, which was established in October 1969, held its first meeting in 1971, and facilitates:

. The exchange of information between the 38 Provinces and churches in the Communion

. Co-ordination of common missionary activities common to all.

IS IT TIME TO DISCUSS "SEXUAL CLEANSING?"

The Anglican Church in the Province of the West Indies. It is made up of two mainland dioceses and six island dioceses, including Barbados, Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, Nassau and the Bahamas, Tobago, Trinidad, and the Windward Islands. Great emphasis is being placed on training personnel for an indigenous ministry.

The Anglican Communion - the Anglican Church around the world - is in turmoil over the issue of homosexuality. Traditionalists are strongly opposed to the ordination of gay clergy and the blessing of same-sex relationships whereas liberals are urging tolerance and change. A rift developed in 2003 after the consecration in the US of an openly gay bishop, Gene Robinson. The ordination of female priests is also a contentious issue. In June 2008 some 1,100 traditionalist Anglicans gathered in Jerusalem at the Global Anglican Future Conference (Gafcon) to form a network to combat modern trends in the Church." read it all, click here

"HOW MANY OF US KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN TREATED POORLY BECAUSE THEY ARE GAY, LESBIAN, TRANSGENDERED, OR BISEXUAL? Many of us know someone who has been treated poorly because they are gay, lesbian, transgendered, or bisexual."

Sexual Cleansing is using extreme measures to suppress gays and lesbians. Hitler did it. During World War II he rounded up gays and put a pink triangle on them and sent them to concentration camps.

Sexual Cleansing is occurring today in Iraq and other countries. In Iraq there are death squads that shoot, hang, and torture people they suspect of being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered. Some Islamic clerics sanction these death squads. The fatwa, available on Sistani’s official Web site, puts it this way, “The people involved [in homosexuality] should be killed in the worst, most severe way of killing.”

In Nepal the police have beaten people who are transgendered. It is because they have deemed being transgendered immoral. The transgendered are called metis in Nepal. The police arrest them, beat them, make them strip off all their cloths and mock them while holding their genitals.

In South Africa a lesbian football (soccer) player was gang raped and murdered. In another incident a mob of men chased down and murdered a lesbian.

It goes on all over the world. Lets not be so naïve that it doesn’t happen here in the United States in some form. Brandon Tina, Matthew Shepard, Paul Broussard, Lawrence King, Julianne M. Williams and Laura S. “Louie” Winans are some of the names of people who have been murdered in the Untied States for being gay, transgendred, or lesbian.
