Bishop Henry Orombi, Primate of Uganda
Bishop Orombi: DO YOU REMEMBER THE REVEREND ERICH KASIRYE/UGANDA WHO SUCCESSFULLY SOLICITED MONEY FROM LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER ANGLICANS IN 2004?
We do too!
Remember Rev. Erich Kasirye/Uganda who underhandedly
solicited and received $$$ at a Anglican LGBT list over six years ago? Unfortunately Fr. Erich received contributions from LGBT members with his compelling story (outright lies) regarding being arrested because of ¨ministering¨ to LGBT Anglicans in Uganda?
Bishop Orombi: DO YOU REMEMBER THE LGBT ANGLICAN KITEMU COMMUNITY CENTER?
We do too!
Integrity USA and Integrity Uganda Joint Statement on Integrity Uganda Leadership and the Rev. Erich Kasirye
¨Leaders of Integrity USA and Integrity Uganda have been in joint consultation for several weeks concerning troubling accounts of the activities of one of the members of the leadership team of Integrity Uganda, the Rev. Erich Kasirye. Fr. Kasirye was among the founders of Integrity Uganda in 2000 and has served frequently as its chief spokesperson.
It is now, sadly, clear to us that Fr. Kasirye has been involved in a number of scams in order to raise money for himself personally using his connection with Integrity Uganda. In particular, in January 2004 he solicited funds from a number of organizations and individuals claiming to have been imprisoned because of his connection to Integrity Uganda, a claim which has turned out not to have been true. At the same time he has, in Uganda, publicly renounced his connection with Integrity to church officials and turned over to them the Kitemu Community Center, which has been the base of Integrity ministry in Uganda. Kitemu Center was built largely with funds raised by Integrity USA.
We do believe that Integrity Uganda remains a vital and legitimate expression of an alternative voice for the Church of Uganda and a haven for lesbian and gay Anglicans in Uganda.
The Rt. Rev. Christopher Ssenyonjo, retired Bishop of West Buganda, and Mr. Denis Iraguha, who has been serving as the President of Integrity Uganda, remain in leadership and have continued the ministry at a site in Kampala. We also believe that Fr. Kasirye's efforts in founding and building Integrity Uganda were honorable, and we are saddened beyond comprehension that he has broken trust with so many people.
It is important, however, for the many networks we have built around the world in support of this ministry, that we make clear that the Rev. Erich Kasirye no longer has any legitimate connection to Integrity Uganda, nor does his wife, Patricia Kasirye, or Colonel Josephine Luboyera, in both of whose names Fr. Kasirye has frequently solicited aid. In addition, the e-mail address is no longer available as a link to the leadership of Integrity Uganda. Our new e-mail address is integrityugcommitte@yahoo.com.
We extend our apologies to all those from whom funds have been solicited for illegitimate purposes in our names and ask your prayers as we seek to re-build the trust that is so vital for our witness. We are building new structures of accountability among us that we hope more adequately protect this trust.¨Integrity Uganda

Bishop Orombi: DO YOU INTEND TO APOLOGIZE TO OUR HETEROSEXUAL BROTHER/SPIRITUAL LEADER BISHOP SSENYONJO?
Honorable Anglicans want to know!
Do you intend to make amends to the LGBT Anglicans YOU´VE HARMED because you crushed the KITEMU Community Center with Rev. Erich Kasirye whom you later rewarded as Youth Director for The Province of Uganda, and his wife Patricia Kasirye, and Colonel Josephine Luboyera? Later still, Bishop Orombi, you ¨called¨ Erich+ to serve and recruit and ¨save¨ Episcopal Church parishes from ¨unholy¨ practices in the U.S.A. for Bishop Samuel Ssekkadde, Diocese of Namirembe in 2005.
Bishop Henry do you intend to RESTORE THE RETIREMENT BENEFITS of The Rt. Rev. Christopher Ssenyonjo, retired Bishop of West Buganda whom you and your punishing HOB´s stripped of his pension after 50 years of loyal service to The Anglican Church of Uganda?
Bishop Orombi: DID YOU EVER ¨LISTEN¨ TO LGBT ANGLICANS IN UGANDA?
Honorable Anglicans in Uganda want to be listened too!
¨INTEGRITY, an Episcopal Church homosexual organization,
says that the Uganda chapter of Integrity is
still functioning, despite a report that one of its leaders
misused Integrity-U.S. subsidies for the African chapter.
Past Integrity President, the Rev. Michael Hopkins,
said that Integrity-Uganda did lose its founder, Rev. Erich
Kasirye, who is alleged to have stolen a significant
amount of Integrity-Uganda assets. But Hopkins says
Integrity Uganda is alive and well under the leadership
of Bishop Christopher Senyonjo and President Denis
Iraguha. - Virtuosity HERE
DO YOU REMEMBER THE "ECCLESIASTICAL PROTECTION¨ OFFER MADE BY YOUR FATHER ERICH KASIRYE TO EPISCOPAL CHURCH U.S.A. PARISHES BY THE DIOCESE OF NAMIREMBE AND BISHOP SAMUEL SSEKKADDE?
We do! Now we also know that the Supreme Courts of Georgia and California have denied you in your ¨ecclesiastical protection¨ effort/takeovers/poaching (some have called it attempted theft).
Fr. Erich moved up to bigger and
better ministry "opportunities" and *offered*
"ecclesiastical protection" to U.S. Parishes from the
Diocese of Namirembe and Bishop Samuel
Ssekkadde in 2005...meanwhile, the ever-pious/
sometimes-present and always unpleasant Archbishop
always sturs up potential "schismatic business" by
harping about the ECUSA and the "poisonous efforts
of the revisionist forces!"
YIKES Bishop Orombi, danger lurks at your extra-Holy Anglican Church in Uganda too!
Fast Forward to 2010 Bishop Orombi: DO YOU REMEMBER BISHOP SAMUEL BALAGADDE SEKADDLE OF NAMIREMBE DIOCESE AND HIS RETIREMENT PLANS ENDED AMID CONTROVERY WITH CHRISTIANS ACCUSING HIM OF MISMANAGING DIOCESE AFFAIRS?
We Do! Chronic ¨Poisonous efforts¨ at The Anglican Communion are easy to spot!
St. John´s Anglican Church, Lubowa
THE SUNDAY VISION MAY 7th 2010, UPDATE
UNNAMED developers are planning to demolish an Anglican church standing on a piece of land which they allegedly bought from Namirembe Diocese.
Parishioners of St. John’s Church, Lubowa near Kampala have reacted to the move with a spirited fight and petitioned State House to stop the developers. They accused the retired Bishop Balagadde Sekadde of selling the 6.5 acres without their consent before he retired.
If not stopped, this will be the first time that developers raze down a house of worship to erect a private or commercial structure.
Uganda President Yoweri Museveni
According to a letter obtained by Sunday Vision, the Christians wrote to the directorate of land matters in State House seeking the intervention of President Yoweri Museveni to reverse the illegal sale of the church land.
State House responded by summoning all parties to a meeting to discuss the issue this month.
“We are investigating the matter with a view of giving a brief to the President. For that matter, we are requesting that you avail time and come to our offices on May 20 in order to hear your side of the story,” said Edward Ochieng of the directorate of land matter in a letter to the Bishop of Namirembe.

“In the meantime you are requested to halt any further sale, allocation, survey or subdivisions of any sort until the matter is resolved.”
Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira succeeded Sekkade as Bishop of Namirembe in May last year. Sekadde’s retirement plans ended amid controversy with Christians accusing him of mismanaging diocese affairs.
The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Rev. Luke Orombi directed Sekadde to hand over the episcopal jurisdiction of Namirembe diocese and abdicate as bishop in March nine month earlier than his retirement date.
In an attempt to retain their land St John’s Christians have also appealed to Orombi. In their January 9 letter they referred to an earlier communication in which they had demanded the sale of the land stopped.
“We also formally sought the intervention of your good office to cause Bishop Samuel Balagadde Sekadde of Namirembe Diocese and Rev. Samuel Lwere to rescind their prior action of selling all the 6.5 acres of land belonging to St John’s COU Lubowa to private developers without our knowledge, consent, or authority,” they wrote.
“We wanted them to do so by refunding the money paid to them by the said private developers and declare the ‘land ownership’ of the said private developer null and void.”
When contacted by Sunday Vision, Ssekadde declined to comment on the matter. “I have no comment because I am no longer the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese,” he said.
But Christians claimed he illegally sold the land in 2007 when still in office. They alleged he connived with Rev. Samuel Lwere, who was then Estates Officer in the Namirembe Diocese, and sold off the land to about six developers.
Though the developers are not clearly known, the Christians alleged the land went for between sh60 and 200m.
The St. John parishioners complained to the Archbishop that their efforts to discuss the land matter with Sekadde had been fruitless. They cited one meeting in November 2007 during which the bishop ridiculed and humiliated them.
“We have never got any official communication, but people keep coming to the church with documents of sale signed by retired Bishop Ssekadde,” they said.
“For all the meetings we have had with him, he insisted that the church is not meant to be in one place, it can be anywhere else.”
The Christians warned of dire consequences that could arise out of anger and frustration if the issue was not addressed to avoid public embarrassment.
“All the Christians of Lubowa Sub-parish unanimously made a strong resolution in the name of Jesus Christ, to temporarily take charge of our own pastoral work, through mobilising ourselves in the service of our lord outside the routine bureaucratic procedures of the diocese establishment until the land issue is solved,” they stated in their letter to Orombi.
Besides petitioning State House, the Christians also plan to go to court. HERE
Bishop Orombi: UNGOLDY HORROR! IMAGINE, COULD THIS BE CHRISTIANS SUING OTHER CHRISTIANS AT THE ANGLICAN CHURCH OF UGANDA? I know how often you lectured against that kind of Christianless behavior, you´re quite the man!
What a disgrace!
