LINE FORMS AT THE REAR: GAYS ¨MADE IN UGANDA¨ GET PAID MONTHLY SALARIES / GAY UGANDANS OUGHT BE PAID TO BECOME HETEROSEXUAL INSTEAD!

¨In a disgusting new twist to the anti-gay fervor that has swept Uganda, The Daily Monitor
HERE reports that Makerere University student leaders said in a meeting with the chairman of the committee handling the Anti-Homosexuality Bill that recruitment of gays was rampant at the university campus. The students told Mr. Tashobya (in charge of the committee) that each of their colleagues who join homosexuals is paid a monthly salary of Shs800, 000.

I have no idea how much Ugandan money that is — but it sounds like some serious coin. We also know, due to reality and common sense, that this allegation is pure propaganda and utterly false. Exactly, who is paying these students? Until there is proof, such allegations should not be made and those putting forth such lies should be punished.

I’m still in shock. In one of the most anti-gay nations on earth — gays are getting salaries. Do they have to take out taxes for such services?

Seriously, what next, accusations that gay people roast children and eat them for snacks?

I’m not trying to be judgmental — but the anti-gay Ugandan legislators sound remarkably ignorant. How uniformed (particularly in the Internet age) does one have to be to believe such bile? Or maybe raw hatred makes some people blind to the complete incoherence and idiocy of the arguments put forth by supporters of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill.¨

Are Anglican Archbishop Henry Orombi and anti-lgbti Anglicans/others remarkably ignorant?

Archbishop Orombi, Anglican MP David Bahati, Rev Martin Ssempa ought outbid the devil of their very own faking and put their money where their mouths are and SAVE some LGBTI Souls!

Quick ¨fix¨ monetary resources available: Ugandan OIL (newly discovered) and/or BIG BANK DEPOSITS (from American Evangelical bigots) should be immediately used to pay LGBTI Ugandans to make them into HETEROSEXUALS! That´ll fix ´em! Praise the Lord! Sounds like a wonderful spiritual investment and a clear moral final solution to enhance the all-around-sexual-readjustment/peace-of-mind program/pogrom needed amongst the sexually obsessed heterosexuals who persecute the lgbti innocents of Uganda! Ugandan National integrity will no doubt immediately improve after ¨Gays¨ start gett´n them cashola deposits monthly and move away from all that imagined sinn´n and start shack´n up with the opposite sex (multiple marriages are available in Uganda/double or triple your monthly income)! Anglican David Bahati, Rev Martin Ssempa and Bishop Henry Luke Orombi (¨spiritual advisor¨ to David Bahati) ought start outbidding the devil and become financially accountable for their own tiresome slandering and ignorant pontificating against the same sex attracted of Kampala and beyond! Pay now, buy the lie later!

ATTENTION ANGLICAN PRIMATES/BISHOPS: ¨None of us are exempt¨

Recently, while pursuing actions related to the VILE ¨Anti-Homosexuality¨ proposed law before the Ugandan Parliament I discovered a NEW BLOG ¨Living Out Loud with Darian¨ HERE . Darians blog I quickly added to my sidebar because the author spoke directly to my heart with clearcut sensibilities and STRAIGHT FORWARD reporting from the ¨frontlines¨ of everyday LGBT life. You know, the kind of words of ¨right vs. wrong¨ clarity that once we assumed only were owned and belonged to religious (appearing) heteroseuxals who PREACHED at us because we PRETENDED homosexuality didn´t really exist and we must not matter anyway if we did exist, we were mostly writeoffs as human beings, we had seeped through the cracks of society and lived on edge.

If ¨Gay existed ¨they¨ were a subject that wasn´t often discussed for FEAR of discovery and/or brutal consequences of the, discrimination/outcasting, HATE CRIME generating kind...or simply ¨they/Gay¨ were considered demented sinfilled clowns acting out in the ¨side show¨ of life...best to be ignored, whenever possible, by family and friends sort of like locking up a drunk aged aunt in the attic...except that we hung out at the local dark, really dark, Gay Bar.

Darian reminds me that LGBT people are part of EVERYONES everyday life. We aren´t weird or evil. We are your brothers, sisters, Moms, Dads, cousins, nephews, schoolmates, coworkers and everyday best friends and passing acquaintances. We are no more likely to be ¨sinfilled perverts or clowns¨ than our heterosexual counterparts. We are people just like YOU!

These past few years I´ve been following the progression of ¨out of the closet¨ activitism by LGBT citizens (often with worldwide scope and often at The Episcopal Church/Anglican Communion). I´ve discovered the very worst reactions that ¨deep down¨ I knew to exist, do exist amongst millions of folks worldwide. HERE I´ve noted time after time that danger lurks for LGBT Christians/citizens both now and in the decades long history of HORRORS at CHURCH HERE

In my own experience of ¨horrors¨ --both self-inflicted and not-- there have been times when I actually bought into the ugly stories generated about people like me. It took years for me to FULLY discover that Gods gift to me was the actual, authentic person of me! It took years for me to see that God simply wanted me to be me and that meant that I would have to become more responsible and accountable too...the hardest part was facing, and not running away from REALITY!

·I have always known that my College friend, Brad, need not have killed himself after his Father caught him with his arm casually draped over the shoulder of his male friend while sleeping over at his folks house in a doublesized bed one weekend after a football game. I went to the funeral, I saw Brad in his coffin and I looked at his expressionless Dad...I looked into his blank stare and I did not speak.

·I have always known that my College friend, Phil need not have killed himself after his first, and only, lover left him without a word, without a note but left him for another man. I went to Phils funeral, I saw Phil in his coffin. I saw him being buried at the Cemetery at Santa Clara. His former ¨loved one¨ was not there. But there were hundreds of bewildered family members and family friends present at the luncheon afterward who didn´t understand why musically very talented Phil died. They grabbed us, hugged us, looked deeply into our eyes with great joy to know that Phils ¨friends¨ were there...a Fraternity Brother and a female friend and I were the only ¨friends¨ in attendence but somehow we seemed to ¨grow into many people¨ like loves and fishes.

·I have always wondered why my dear Jose died. He was murdered in his own home execution style just two weeks short of being 35. He was a kind and gentle person who was not into drugs and always, yes always, HELPED everyone at all levels of society. Why did he die? His death is yet another act done by unthinkable madness. Jose was not a permiscous man but a man with a loving easy-going soul. Why was he murdered? I went to visit him at his tomb to honor him and tell him how I still love him on All Saints day. It´s over eleven years later now and I still don´t know why this good and loving man is dead.

·I think of the young suicides HERE that we´ve seen so many of (documented here at my blog) recently, within the past year. I think of the many and increasing brutal hate crimes generated in the name of a God HERE that I´ve never known.

I think of Archbishop Orombi of Uganda and Archbishop Akinola of Nigeria as they promote/instigate by endorsing ¨legalized¨ hate campaigns against Anglican, Christian and other LGBT FAMILIES. Families and people they will never know, and certainly never knew anything about their innermost character, hearts and/or souls of those whom they marginalized and damn to Hell. You see, Bishops Orombi and Akinola are amongst other grandstanding blowhards seeped in ignorance and feardriven bigotry who only ¨listen¨ to the sound of their own rationalized vicious voices and their ¨conservative¨ backers/accomplices in the United States HERE

Back to Darian and his ¨Living Out Loud with Darian¨ blog. This morning Darian greeted us with a THANKSGIVING FAMILY PORTRAIT including his very best wishes for us all during this Season of Thanksgiving, 2009...I immediately thought of my friends in Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya and Jamaica who I believe will find a measure of HOPE in Darians message from his family and most of us in the United States too...afterall, as Darian says ¨None of us are exempt¨ read it all, click HERE

Onward! I challenge Dr. Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, Ugandan (refugee) Archbishop John, Lord of York, Katharine Jefferts Schori, Primate of The Episcopal Church and ALL the Anglican PRIMATES and ALL the BISHOPS of The ANGLICAN COMMUNION to speak out immediately against the murderous anti-Homosexuality Bill pending at the Parliament of Uganda.. The faux religious slandering that promotes hate crime atrocities must STOP!

BLOODSHED ALERT: The ¨Christian¨ Community in UGANDA has now declared War on the lives of Gay Men and Women...Lord Have Mercy

¨The Christian community in Uganda has now declared war on the lives of Gay Men and Lesbian Women in that Country...and they have been abetted by American leaders in the anti-gay and ex-gay ministries.¨

This news report came out two days ago - prior to the one we reported today. In it, newly ex-gay George Oundo presented some rather strong claims in Uganda:

A man shocked parents on Sunday when he confessed to recruiting school children into homosexuality as part of a programme to promote the practice in Ugandan schools.

George Oundo said funders gave them “much money” and training abroad and that he would target mostly the needy children who had problems of tuition and pocket money and “others who like outings.”

Oundo describes a rather structured effort

Oundo said he got seriously involved in promoting homosexuality in 2003. “I was taken to Nairobi for training,” he said. “I used to supply pornographic materials in form of books and compact discs showing homosexuality to young boys in many schools,” he explained.

And Oundo identifies the culprits

The training, he said, was facilitated by Gay and Lesbian Coalition. “I also got the pupils’ telephone contacts. We used to meet with both girls and boys in schools during ceremonial parties,” he asserted.

Oundo said homosexuality was spread by international human rights organisations.

In the West most readers would recognize this as rather outlandish and not be quick to believe Oundo’s statements. Uganda, however, is fertile ground for these statements and it is almost certain that this seed will grow vines.

It is difficult to know the motivation for Oundo’s actions and statements. But perhaps it helps to know that Oundo was a gay activist who in September was arrested for “recruiting homosexuals”, beaten, denied food and medication, and held for several days until international pressure from human rights organization led to their release. I think that it is likely not coincidental that Oundo’s statements now vindicate the police claim and vilify the human rights groups.

The Christian community in Uganda has now declared war on the lives of gay men and women in that county. And they have been abetted by American leaders in the anti-gay and ex-gay ministries.

AMERICAN, Scott Lively suddenly appeared as a Ugandan ¨ethics consultant¨ and ¨authority¨ on LGBT people for the Ugandan ¨government and church officials.¨ Lively participanted at the recent Ugandan anti-LGBT Conference, last week. Scott had co-authored the book "The Pink Swastika." Scott Lively writes in "The Pink Swastika": ¨Like their Nazi predecessors, today's homosexualists lack any scruples.¨

IMPORTANT WARNING and a NOTE from respected author/historian Michelle Goldberg regarding Scott Lively´s anti-gay Holocaust revisionism:

¨To me, one of the more sinister aspects of AFA's ideology is its association with anti-gay Holocaust revisionism -- the belief, promoted throughout the hard right, that not only were gay people not targeted by the Nazis, but that they were the primary mover behind Nazism. One of the most important proponents of this view is Scott Lively, AFA's California state director and co-author of a book called "The Pink Swastika." I quote Lively's work in my forthcoming book, "Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism" (which, in the name of self-promotion, I'm going to note is available for pre-order at Amazon.com):

Mr. Lively states in his book: "Like their Nazi predecessors, today's homosexualists lack any scruples. Homosexuality is primarily a predatory addiction striving to take the weak and unsuspecting down with it. The 'gay' agenda is a colossal fraud; a gigantic robbery of the mind. Homosexuals of the type described in this book have no true idea of how to act in the best interests of their country and fellow man. Sadly, these Americans wish to pretend that their actions have no consequences, that they were just presenting “a compassionate, biblical view of homosexuality” to the world and that they bear no responsibility for any blood shed as a direct result of their anti-gay missionary efforts.And make no mistake, there will be blood shed.¨

It is impossible, irresponsible and near fully-demented to PRETEND that anti-LGBT instigators are not responsible for the consequences of their fear and hate-mongering at Church and beyond.

¨Other pastors yesterday told journalists in Kampala the war against sodomy would be long and challenging but must be fought.¨

Anglican Archbishops Akinola/Nigeria and Orombi/Uganda are amongst the leaders of the deadly ¨Witch Hunt¨ against LGBT Christians and others at all levels of everyday and religious life.
